Bristol Meetings

When & Where

We meet at the Pierian Centre on the first Thursday of each month at 7.30 pm. The Pierian Centre is in Portland Square, St Paul's, at the bottom of the M32. We suggest you click here for a map, provided courtesy of the Centre.

Travel by Car

If you are coming by car from the M32 stay in the right hand lane, passing through the set of lights where the ring road from Temple Meads comes in (from the left) and head for the roundabout in front of Debenhams at the bottom of Stokes Croft. it is the first large roundabout you come to.

Double back on yourself towards the M32 and then take the first left into Pritchard Street. Passing the square on your right, turn right, along the top of the square, and carry on into Portland Square. Turn left into the square. Car parking is available in the Square, is usually OK to find at night and is free at that time.

Public Transport

The nearest station is Bristol Temple Meads and is around 20 minutes walk. The Bus Station is about 5 minutes walk. Nearest Bus Stops apart from the Bus Station are in Bond Street or the Haymarket.

On Arrival

The Pierian Centre is number 27 Portland Square. It is a rather grand Georgian building with a brown door; do not be put off by the fact that it will probably be shut. Ring the bell, reception will welcome you - and no doubt usher you to the lounge for coffee/tea and biscuits.
