Avon Valley Country Park fuses fun and education to provide an appreciation of the natural world. The grounds span 50 acres of beautiful countryside and its residents include a wide range of farm animals and rare exotic species.

Many of the animals can be touched under supervision. There are regular displays of falconry (on weekends and during school holidays at 2pm), while the popular, picturesque 1½ - mile river walk (complete with junior assault course) takes walkers on a leisurely guide of the area’s local plants and wildlife.
