Our Meetings
We meet at the Pierian Centre on the second Monday of each month at 7.30 pm. The Pierian Centre is in Portland Square, St Paul's, at the bottom of the M32, though with all the redevlopment directions on how to get there are susceptable to change. Car parking is available in the Square & is usually OK to find at night. If you are coming by car from the M32 stay in the right hand lane. There is a filter to the right, with its own set of lights immediately on going through the set of lights where the ring road from Temple Meads comes in (from the left). Otherwise, if you miss it, then follow the directions on the map i.e. head for the roundabout at the bottom of Stokes Croft, double back on yourself towards the M32 and then left into Pritchard Street just before the lights.
We try to put together a varied program and from time to time invite those working within the area of Family Law to give presentations to our meetings. It also gives you a chance to ask questions and make suggestions as to how the Family Law system might be improved.
In addition, we provide time for help and support with individual's problems and usually one or both of our 'resident' solicitors are on hand to give Legal advice.
The nearest station is Bristol Temple Meads and is around 20 minutes walk. The Bus Station is about 5 minutes walk. Nearest Bus Stops apart from the Bus Station are in Bond Street or the Haymarket.
